- Login to your facebook account.
- Click on the point button near home option,( In the picture it is rounded with green circle)
- Then a drop down menu appears, click on account setting option.
- Now a new window appears.
- Click on Security option(blue circled in picture)
- Then the below window appears,
- Here is the latest security options for your account
- And our mission is to configure the options available here.
- Firstly, the first option may be security question
- If you had not made a security question for your account the option will be available for assigning security question.
- Next choice is secure browsing, just click edit and enable the secure browsing, it will protect your account from fake browsing, fake browser functions.
- Next is login notifications, edit it by activating login text and email alerts.
- Text option will provide direct message to your mobile phone, when ever you or any one login into your account.
- Text option will only available if you had given your mobile number to account details
- Also activate email alerts provide direct mail to your email account, when ever you or any one login into your fb account.
- Next is recognised devices which provide details about the device names that you had used to login.
- Last one is active sessions , it provide details of the locations; from where you had tried to login into your account.
